The most commonly asked questions about our fishing charters
Upon reservation we take a credit card number. The card is not charged although a hold is placed 10 days prior to the trip. You will pay on the day of the trip.
We accept all domestic credit cards, cash and money order.
Cancellation made 14 days to 72 hours prior to trip will be assessed a 50% cancellation fee. Trips cancelled within 72 hours will be charged at full price. All sales of gift certificates or prepaid trips are final, no cancellations.
Parking is always free when fishing with Mile High Fishing. We do ask that you park in the designated spaces by our office in the beautiful Tahoe Keys Marina.
If you happen to be running late for your Lake Tahoe Charter be sure to call the phone number on the email that was sent with information about the trip. We can usually wait for you within a 1/2 hour window. Being prompt is important but we do understand life happens.
We can offer suggestions for accommodations in Lake Tahoe. All of us have been here most of our lives and can offer advice on lodging, restaurants. Activities to suit you and your group. Please ask us for recommendations.
Lake Tahoe is one of the most photographed places in the world. We encourage you to bring a variety of cameras for your trip including drones. We do ask for the safety of all that you are an experienced drone pilot.
We clean and bag the fish for you. Standard cleaning is a field dress of your fish. They will be rinsed and ready for your preparation. Be sure to ask your guide about local restaurants that will cook your catch for you or cooking tips.
